WHAT ARE FBLA & DECA?
DECA Inc. is a global non-profit organization with over 225,000 high school members that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
DECA events and opportunities include:

Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. (FBLA) is the world’s largest business career and technical student organization, with over 215,000 high school members each year. FBLA helps students prepare for future careers by offering a wide range of opportunities to lead, compete, and grow professionally.
FBLA competitive events cover areas such as:
Marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship
Computer science and cybersecurity
Healthcare administration
Public speaking and business communication
These events give students a chance to apply their skills in real-world scenarios and gain experience that prepares them for a wide variety of industries. Members also grow through leadership roles, teamwork, and networking opportunities.

OUR FBLA & DECA ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Together, our chapters remain one of the largest competitive business programs in the district and continue to rank among the top 5 in the state. Our members have represented Sun Prairie at the national level in conferences in both DECA and FBLA.
WHAT WE ACHIEVED LAST YEAR:
Raised nearly $3,000 for the Alzheimer's Association
Completed over 450 volunteer hours through partnerships with local nonprofits and organizations
Continued our Member of the Month recognition program
Hosted guest speakers, including alumni and industry professionals
Worked to launch a middle school chapter
Earned national recognition:
Gold Champion Chapter
Gold Seal Award
Multiple national top 10 finishes — a first in Sun Prairie history
Received a monetary award for our accomplishments
